TESTING PROCESS :

Testing Process

1. Applicants must pass a written exam with a grade of 70 or higher.

(Source material taken from Seventh Edition of IFSTA Essentials of Firefighting)

2. Applicants must pass a PAT (Physical Agility Test)

3. Candidate must pass:

Written Exam
Physical Agility Test
Scheduled Interview
Conditional Job Offer
Medical Physical Exam

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED
Must be 18 years of age
Must have basic certification for Structural Fire Suppression from the T.C.F.P.
Must be EMT- B certified through the Texas Department of Health or National Registry
Applicants should have a Texas Class C Drivers License or better.
