Chief Fisher became a member of Porter Fire Department in 2007, as a part-time Firefighter. At this time, he was also a career Firefighter with Houston Fire Department and held the rank of Sr. Captain.  

Over time, he was promoted to District Chief with Houston Fire Department and continued working part-time with Porter Fire. He later accepted a new part-time position as Deputy Chief over Training with Porter Fire.  

Chief Fisher retired from Houston Fire Department in early 2018 after 35 years of service.  Following his retirement from Houston Fire, Chief Fisher accepted a full-time position as a Battalion Chief on A shift. He has remained in this position until present.
